Overnight oats are the best way to eat oats, in my opinion. It requires no cooking, is great for meal prep, and the creamy consistency is irresistible! Without a doubt, I share a lot of overnight oats recipes like Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats and Apple Pie Overnight Oats. But I think we can never have too many overnight oats recipes so that we can enjoy it all year long.

What You'll Need

For the Overnight Oats

  • Oats - Use plain, old-fashioned rolled oats for the best texture! Use gluten-free oats to make this recipe gluten-free, as not all oats are made in gluten-free facilities.
  • Chia Seeds - Chia seeds are rich in protein and omega-3 fatty acids, making simple overnight oats extra satiating.
  • Oat Milk or any milk - Use your favorite kind of milk. Use gluten-free milk to make this recipe gluten-free
  • Strawberries - Of course, the strawberries are non-negotiable in this Strawberry and Cream Overnight Oats recipe!
  • Maple Syrup and Vanilla - For the sweetness and flavor.

For matcha yogurt

  • Yogurt - You can use your favorite kind of yogurt, but make sure to use plain yogurt. Use coconut yogurt to make this recipe vegan.
  • Maple Syrup - Adds sweetness.
  • Matcha - The quality of matcha can save or kill this recipe. Because the quality of the matcha largely affects the taste. I highly recommend using ceremonial-grade matcha.

How to Make Strawberry and Cream Overnight Oats with Matcha Yogurt

First, add ½ cup of oats and 1 Tablespoon of chia seeds to each jar. The recipe makes 2 jars of overnight oats.

Next, we're going to make strawberry milk to combine strawberries and oats in one flavor. In a blender, add oat milk, strawberries, maple syrup, and vanilla and blend until smooth. Divide the blended strawberry milk into the glasses over oats.

Mix oats with milk well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Then, let's make matcha yogurt for the topping. In a small bowl, add yogurt and maple syrup. Sift matcha powder over it. Matcha can be clumpy, so sifting it makes it easier to combine. Mix everything well.

Finally, dollop yogurt on overnight oats and top with strawberries. Mix well and enjoy!
