For the Bowl

  • Sweet potatoes
  • Cinnamon
  • Ground beef
  • Tomato paste
  • Cottage cheese
  • Avocados
  • Hot honey

For the Homemade Taco Seasoning

  • Chili powder
  • Ground cumin
  • Smoked paprika
  • Oregano
  • Garlic 
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Back pepper
  • Cayenne pepper

You can also use 2 to 3 tablespoons of store-bought premixed taco seasoning

Instructions

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Toss the sweet potatoes with 2 Tablespoons of olive oil, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Spread them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 10-13 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender and golden on the edges. Work in batches if necessary.

Homemade Taco Seasoning: In a small bowl, whisk together the ingredients of the taco seasoning.

Cook the Beef: Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned. Stir in the taco seasoning and tomato paste. Add a splash of water if necessary.

Serve: In serving bowls, divide the beef, sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, and avocados. Drizzle the hot honey and enjoy.
