What do you need for date caramel sauce?

The beauty of this recipe is how easy and delicious this recipe is! It is made with a handful of ingredients you might already have in your pantry.

  •  Medjool Dates - the dates add caramel-y flavor and sweetness without any added sugar. For a smooth and creamy sauce, opt for soft and juicy dates. If you only have slightly dried dates in your pantry, soak them in water before blending.
  • Almond Butter - Both creamy and crunchy almond butter works. Blend longer if you're using a crunchy one.
  • Coconut Milk - coconut milk makes this recipe dairy-free and creamy.
  • Vanilla Extract - a few drops of vanilla make a huge difference.
  • Sea Salt: Always a pinch of salt, enhancing the sweetness of dates.
