Ingredients

The ingredients of blueberry lavender iced matcha lemonade on the table/
  • Blueberry Lavender Syrup – You can use store-bought syrup, but making it from scratch is so simple and easy!
  • Still or Sparkling Water – Use regular spring water for refreshing lemonade or sparkling water to make a fizzy sparkling matcha drink.
  • Lemon Juice – Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • Matcha – Not all matcha are created equal. Use high-quality ceremonial-grade matcha powder for the best taste! Good quality matcha has a vibrant green color and rich umami taste that people are obsessed with. It should never taste too grassy or even dull. I love and trust the matcha from Ippodo!

Tip for Making Good Matcha – When making matcha, the key is to avoid boiling water. Boiling water ruins the flavor of matcha even when you use a high-quality ceremonial-grade matcha. Use 176°F (80°C) water for the best result. After boiling your water, transfer it to an empty cup. It helps cool down hot water to the ideal temperature for matcha making. Then add to matcha to whisk!
