Mango Matcha Latte

This easy Mango Matcha Latte is a refreshing iced drink made with sweet fresh mango, creamy milk, and earthy matcha. The juicy mango puree adds natural sweetness and tropical flavor that pairs beautifully with the rich taste of matcha. It's easy to make at home and perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients
  

For the puree 4 oz

  • 1 champagne mango peeled, seeded, and chopped
  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup if mangoes are not as sweet, use 1 tablespoon

For the matcha

  • 2 teaspoons ceremonial-grade matcha about 4 grams
  • ¼ cup 158-176°F 70-80°C hot water, boil water and pour it in a cup to cool down slightly
  • ½ cup oat milk
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

Make the mango puree

  • In a small blender, combine mangoes and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.

Assemble Mango Matcha Latte

  • In a small bowl, sift in matcha powder. Add hot water and use a bamboo whisk to whisk, moving M or W shape, until smooth and foamy on the surface. Set aside.
  • Pour the ½ cup of mango puree and fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour oat milk and matcha. Mix well and enjoy! Adjust the sweetness by adding more syrup to your taste.
  • For a hot matcha latte, steam or warm the milk before adding to a mug.
