FAQ
Yes, substitute with cold brew, strong brewed coffee, or instant coffee. Adjust the amount of milk to achieve the strength of coffee you like.
I like using barista blend oat milk when frothing milk for coffee.
The sweetener used in the syrup affects the taste of the latte. Some blueberry syrup recipe online uses brown sugar, and My Blueberry Lavender Syrup uses maple syrup. Brown sugar and maple syrup give a warm, rich flavor, resulting in a latte that tastes like a blueberry pie. When making the blueberry syrup, add a splash of lemon juice to add acidity to enhance the blueberry flavor. Use regular sugar if you prefer the clear, crisp blueberry taste.
