Easy Homemade Blackberry Compote

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Kickstart your Sunday morning with a no-fuss waffle brunch! Elevate your brunch with a drizzling of easy homemade blackberry compote for an extra burst of refreshing sweetness.

This recipe is sponsored by Heinen’s. I truly appreciate the support that makes Yoko’s kitchen possible.

What do you need to make blackberry compote?

All you need is 3 ingredients!

  • Blackberries: A lot of grocery stores sell 6oz containers of blackberries.
  • Honey
  • ½ lemon juice: freshly squeezed is the best!

What to serve compote for?

This 3-ingredient compote is ready quickly, so you can whip it up easily even on busy mornings. Serve with waffles, pancakes, toast, and yogurt. This is going to be your go-to breakfast item!

I served mine with frozen toaster waffles, honey roasted peanut butter, and fresh black berries!
