Banana Matcha Latte

This Banana Matcha Latte is creamy and delicious, an easy way to elevate the regular matcha latte. Easy homemade banana milk adds natural sweetness to the rich matcha latte. Perfect for breakfast, afternoon pick-me-up, or any time you need a matcha fix!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup oat milk
  • 2 teaspoons matcha
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • Ice cubes
  • (optional)A pinch of salt, a dash of cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract/paste

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the banana and oat milk and blend until smooth. If you're using optional ingredients like salt, vanilla, or cinnamon, add them here and blend together.
  • In a bowl, sift matcha and pour ¼ cup of hot water. Whisk with a bamboo whisk.
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour banana milk. Top with matcha. Mix well and enjoy!

Can I use frozen bananas to make the banana milk?
Yes definitely! Frozen bananas work well, just blend longer until the desired consistency, or add a splash more milk and sweetener, like maple syrup, to make it less thick. Also, if you like smoothie consistency, try the Matcha Banana Smoothie!
