5-ingredient Mango and Matcha Green Tea Smoothie
Rich matcha and creamy mango smoothie create a beautiful swirl in a glass, making this healthy and easy Mango and Matcha Green Tea Smoothie!

For the matcha
- 1 teaspoon matcha
- 3 tablespoons hot water boil water and pour it in a cup to cool down to 176°F (80°C)
For the mango smoothie
- 1 frozen banana chopped
- 1 cup frozen mangoes
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- ⅔ cup oat milk *see note 1 below
Make matcha: in a small bowl, sift in matcha powder. Add hot water and use a bamboo whisk to whisk vigorously until smooth and foam on the surface. Set aside.
Make the mango smoothie: in a high-speed blender, add a frozen banana, mango, hemp seeds, and oat milk. Blend until creamy and thick. Add a splash of oat milk if it’s difficult to blend.
Assembly: In a glass, add matcha and pour the smoothie over the matcha. Mix, but not over mix, and enjoy!
*note 1: use gluten free oat milk if you're sensitive to gluten.
