Ingredients
 
 

For the matcha

  • 1 teaspoon matcha
  • 3 tablespoons hot water boil water and pour it in a cup to cool down to 176°F (80°C)

For the mango smoothie

  • 1 frozen banana chopped
  • 1 cup frozen mangoes
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • cup oat milk *see note 1 below

Instructions
 

  • Make matcha: in a small bowl, sift in matcha powder. Add hot water and use a bamboo whisk to whisk vigorously until smooth and foam on the surface. Set aside.
  • Make the mango smoothie: in a high-speed blender, add a frozen banana, mango, hemp seeds, and oat milk. Blend until creamy and thick. Add a splash of oat milk if it’s difficult to blend.
  • Assembly: In a glass, add matcha and pour the smoothie over the matcha. Mix, but not over mix, and enjoy!

Notes

*note 1: use gluten free oat milk if you're sensitive to gluten.
