How to Make Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup (Refined Sugar Free)

This homemade Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup is a naturally sweetened coffee syrup made with real pumpkin and warm spices! It tastes just like a slice of pumpkin pie in your morning coffee.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla bean paste or extract optional
  • A pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, maple syrup, water, spice, and salt. Bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. If the syrup is cooked too thick and looks thick, add a splash of water.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla paste. Let cool completely.
  • Straining through the cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer is optional.
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons to each drink, like a latte or cold brew. Store the syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Shake well before each use.
