Blueberry Matcha Latte (How to Make the Iced or Hot)

Fall in love with this sweet and tart Blueberry Matcha Latte for a smooth and awakening energy boost. Finishing with the blueberry cold foam is just a cherry on top.

Ingredients
  

For the Matcha Latte

  • 2 Tablespoons blueberry syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ceremonial grade matcha
  • ¼ cup hot water boil water and pour it in a cup to cool down to 176°F (80°C)
  • ½ cup oat milk
  • Ice cubes

For the Blueberry Cold Foam (optional)

  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons oat milk or any milk of your choice
  • 1 Tablespoon blueberry syrup

How to make Blueberry Matcha

  • In a small bowl, sift in matcha powder. Add hot water and use a bamboo whisk to whisk vigorously until smooth and foamy on the surface. Set aside.
  • For the iced matcha latte, fill the glass with ice cubes and pour the blueberry syrup over it.
  • Add oat milk and matcha. Top with the blueberry cold foam (see below) if desired. Mix well and enjoy! Adjust the sweetness by adding more syrup for your taste.
  • For a hot matcha latte, steam or warm the milk before adding.

How to make Blueberry Cold Foam

  • In a jar, add all the ingredients of the blueberry cold foam. Use a hand-held frother to froth until fluffy. You can alternatively shake in a small jar with a lid or blend in a small blender.
